Night Shift Registered Nurse – High Littleton
 
Location: High Littleton
Hours: Night Shifts – 9pm to 9am – full/part time hours & flexible shifts
Salary: £26.60 - £27.60 per hour
 
We are seeking a committed and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide overnight care to a gentleman with complex health needs, in the comfort and calm of his own home.
 
About the Role: As a Night Shift Nurse, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred care while ensuring a safe and restful night for a man with a range of medical and support needs. You’ll work independently with a Complex Care Assistant to manage clinical responsibilities and provide a reassuring presence throughout the night.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage PEG feeding and medication administration
• Observe for signs of seizures, manage accordingly, and maintain accurate documentation
• Support non-verbal communication needs using facial expressions, eye-pointing, and vocalisations
• Ensure comfort and safety for a full-time wheelchair user with a movement disorder, left leg amputation, and neuromuscular scoliosis
• Provide appropriate positioning and support through the night
• Respond calmly and efficiently to any changes in health or needs

About You:

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin
• Confident working autonomously overnight
• Experience with PEG care, complex physical needs, and seizure awareness preferred
• Skilled in supporting individuals with limited verbal communication
