Bluebird Care are recruiting for a compassionate, reliable Support Worker in the Ottery Saint Mary area.

We’re looking for the right person to provide one-to-one support to a friendly gentleman living with paranoid schizophrenia.

About the Role:

• Fulltime hours 
• Every other weekend
• Daily dog walks — must be comfortable with dogs!
• Drive client to appointments and social outings
• Provide gentle structure, motivation, and positive encouragement
• Focus on companionship, emotional support, and confidence-building
• No personal care required
• Option to pick up additional hours through Bluebird Care’s wider services

• A driver with access to your own vehicle
• Calm, friendly, and trustworthy
• Energetic and enjoys outdoor activities
• Patient and understanding, with an awareness of mental health needs
• Dog-friendly — his dog is a valued companion!
• A genuine passion for providing uplifting, steady support

• £13.00–£14.00/hour (Weekdays before 5pm)
• £14.00–£15.00/hour (Evenings & Weekends)
• £20.00/hour (Bank Holidays)
• Travel Time and Milage Paid!
