Job Title: Care Assistant
Location: North Somerset
Salary: £12.21 - £13 per hour
Contract Type: Full time / Part time
Shift Pattern: Flexible hours, 7-day availability, Weekdays/Weekends
 
About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to provide essential care and support to individuals with complex health needs in the comfort of their own homes.

As a  Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping clients lead fulfilling lives by assisting them with a range of care needs. You will be responsible for providing personalized care, offering emotional support, and promoting independence while ensuring the highest standard of care is delivered.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Personal Care: Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while ensuring their dignity and respect.
• Health Monitoring: Support with monitoring and managing health conditions, including medication administration, mobility assistance, and managing medical equipment.
• Complex Care: Provide support to clients with complex conditions such as neurological disorders, physical disabilities, dementia, or long-term illnesses.
• Emotional Support: Offer companionship, encouragement, and emotional support to help enhance the quality of life for clients.
• Daily Living: Assist clients with household tasks such as meal preparation, light cleaning, and shopping to promote independence.
• Record Keeping: Document care provided, report any changes in condition, and follow care plans to ensure the client’s needs are met.

 
What We’re Looking For:

• Good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must hold a valid driving license and have access to a car.
• Enhanced DBS check will be required
