Job Title: Weekend Care Assistant

Salary: £14.50 per hour

Role Overview:
As a Weekend Care Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to provide personalised support to our clients in their own homes. You will assist with everyday tasks that help promote independence, improve quality of life, and ensure the safety and well-being of our clients. From helping with personal care to offering emotional support, your work will have a profound impact on those you care for.
 
Responsibilities:

• Assist with personal care routines, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers safely.
• Prompt and assist with medication administration.
• Prepare meals and support clients with eating and drinking.
• Offer companionship, creating a positive and friendly environment.
• Perform light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
• Document care provided and report any changes in clients' health or circumstances.

• Previous experience in care or a caring nature with a willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A compassionate and patient attitude.
• Valid UK driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required.
• A DBS check and any relevant certifications (e.g., Care Certificate) will be required, or we can assist in obtaining them.
