They're growing fast, they move fast, and they're not the kind of company that clings to the same system for twenty years. They spot a better way, and they take it. What they need now is someone to own the engine room while they keep scaling.
The role in one line
Take full ownership of the business's global operations - logistics, customer experience, inventory and the people behind them - so the Founder can stop chasing the details and trust that they're handled.
What you'll own
The 3PL network The business utilises two 3PL warehouses today (the US is the biggest market by far, then Australia) and is in the process of partnering with three more across Canada, the UK and China. You'll own those relationships completely: finding and onboarding new partners, holding them to their SLAs and costs, and making sure "there's a delay again this week" stops being a sentence anyone says.
The teams below you. Customer Experience (a 30-plus agent team offshore, with a manager and supervisor), Ecommerce, IT and Inventory all sit under you. You don't need to know the ins and outs of every function - you need to lead the people who do. Set the KPIs, create the accountability, give them the direction they've been missing, and bring everyone together when it matters.
Operational excellence You'll make operations exceptional: automate the customer queries that shouldn't need a human, run the system migrations everyone keeps talking about but nobody has time to lead, and find the efficiencies hiding in plain sight.
Launches, in sync. When the business drops a new product you're the one who breaks the team silos - briefing CX, aligning every team on the go-live date, and making sure they hit it together.
A close working partnership with the Founder. You'll work with them directly - but the whole point is that they don't have to ask "did you do this, did you finish that" every week. One weekly catch-up, one clear picture of what you've moved forward. That's the deal.
You'll thrive here if you
Come from e-commerce operations - ideally a business with multiple 3PLs and a lot of SKUs (fashion, activewear, high-volume consumer brands all translate well)
Know the 3PL model inside out - managing external partners and controlling stock you don't physically hold is a different game to running your own warehouse, and you've played it
Have a real handle on logistics, customer service and inventory planning - these three are non-negotiable
Lead people with clarity and accountability, without micromanaging
Are genuinely self-motivated - the business measures output, not hours at a desk, and they notice the difference
Embrace AI and change - you don't need to be the expert, but you see where e-commerce is heading and you run at the opportunities
The details This is a fully remote role for someone based in Australia, reporting directly to the Founder. You'll be working directly with founders in a fast-moving, fast-growing business. There's no committee, no twenty approvals to change one thing. You see a better way, you make it happen.
