THE ROLE
 
We're hiring an Operations Manager to own the commercial and operational heartbeat of Vibit. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role covering everything from supply chain and 3PL management to demand planning, cash flow, and P&L oversight. You'll have an Operations Consultant reporting into you, and you'll work closely with our fractional CFO on the finance side.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN
 
Supply Chain and 3PL Management

• Day-to-day ownership of our 3PL relationships across three regions: Australia (Sydney), the US, and our patching 3PL in China
• Keeping fulfilment running smoothly across all three, managing relationships directly, and resolving issues before they become problems

 
Demand and Inventory Planning

• Building and maintaining buying plans and stock forecasts that keep pace with our growth
• Reviewing the weekly forecast, identifying gaps and opportunities, and making proactive decisions on stock levels

 
Finance and Commercial Analysis

• Reading and managing the P&L with confidence (along with the Senior leadership team)
• Understanding contribution margin across the product range and knowing what it means for the business
• Building and maintaining cash flow plans that reflect real buying and fulfilment activity
• Pulling together bundling options based on the forecast and margin analysis
• Collaborating with our fractional CFO - you're not flying solo on finance, but you need to be genuinely strong in it

 
Scenario Planning and Problem Solving

• Mapping out options when things don't go to plan (and in a growth business, they sometimes don't)
• Bringing creative, practical solutions to operational and commercial challenges
• Communicating options clearly so leadership can make fast, informed decisions

 
People Leadership

• Managing and supporting the Operations Consultant who reports into this role

 
 
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Solid experience in operations, supply chain, and demand planning within an ecommerce or product-based business
• Genuine financial literacy. You can read a P&L, build a cash flow model, and explain contribution margin without needing a finance dictionary
• Hands-on experience managing 3PL relationships, ideally across more than one geography
• A structured thinker who can hold a weekly operational cadence without being chased
• Someone who's comfortable with ambiguity and growth. Things move fast here and that's the point
