We're appointing a Marketing Manager [12 month fixed-term contract] from the outdoor/leisure/sports industries to drive category and brand strategies for lasting growth.  A role for the adventurers, the wanderers and the wild at heart - for someone who can see growth opportunities in outdoor lifestyle and work with both global brand partners and internal stakeholders to make it happen.

Your role will cover:

• Develop and drive the Australian marketing strategy in cooperation with global direction, to achieve strategic objectives.
• Responsible for the Australian Marketing Budget—including allocating spend and preparing annual and quarterly reports.
• Leading a highly efficient marketing and creative team, including the Marketing Coordinator and Graphic Designer, and driving effective coordination with other teams to deliver marketing initiatives.
• Manage and engage with the Australian athlete team and influencers representing the brand portfolio.
• Coordinate and project manage Australian events including but not limited to: B2B and B2C trade shows, sales meetings and outdoor recreation.
• Oversee and implement the Australian marketing calendar across diverse GTM channels and strategies
• Employ creative and critical thinking to design innovative marketing strategies, solve complex challenges, and adapt campaigns to evolving market trends and consumer behaviour.

 
 
 
We're looking for someone who:

• Has managed [or is ready to step up and manage] brand & trade marketing initiatives in the outdoor category, or an adjacent sector such as sports, or outdoor lifestyle
• Has a demonstrated history of delivering brand growth through both sales and profitability
• Is a sound communicator and great at building both internal and external relationships
• Is a creative thinker and ready to explore what growth you could bring to the STS team.
