• The role is primarily remote (from Syd) so whilst there's a portion of your week out & about seeing clients you can skip the daily commute in lieu of 1 day in the DC connecting in, grabbing samples and familiarising yourself with product

 
 
Your remit:
 

• Lead the growth of Miss Amara’s B2B business with a focus on the Trade and Commercial sector, extending the reach of Miss Amara's products in order to increase revenue.
• You'll be responsible for expanding our customer base and growing revenue with existing customers.You will develop a network of contacts to attract new clients, researching new market opportunities, leveraging relationships to bring incremental sales into the business.
• Drive the end-to-end sales cycle - aligning on strategy with COO, then owning prospecting through to close
• Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships or new products and services
• Research, target and outreach to potential customers, including interior designers, trade professionals, aligned industry partners, and retailers.

 
 
As the best person for the role, your experience covers:

• Wholesale business development in interiors, homewares, lifestyle products, or a similar market, and you can demonstrate a genuine passion for the interiors space
• A history of proactive new business generation
• Some exposure to online - you're either in a business that sells both online & offline, or you're used to selling to a customer base that's structured this way
• Tenure. You know that in sales good things take time, and as such you've demonstrated commitment in previous roles
