An exciting opportunity has come up to join their team as Head of Operations, leading their operations and supply chain team of 25+. This role is ideal for someone with a background in ecommerce or omnichannel retail.

 Once appointed you'll:

• Oversee the Operations team, including providing support to the Operations Manager, Warehouse Manager, and rest of the Operations team.
• Own supply chain end-to-end and ensure a timely, safe delivery of products from international manufacturers to our global warehouses and then on to customers, including up-to-date tracking and reporting.
• Champion automation & efficiency company wide.
• Lead, develop and execute operations systems & plans including new market launches (in progress), standards, logistics, and ordering.
• Formulate and own the operations budget.
• Build strategies to reduce costs & improve performance (measured through timeliness & customer satisfaction).
• Utilise & implement technology & software to solve company wide operations challenges, including but not limited to end-to-end logistic processes.
• Work closely with existing suppliers and service providers to ensure the company is always getting the best rates and level of service.
• Actively seek out new suppliers and service providers to meet the needs of the business.
• Drive continuous improvement in the business including automation and streamlining of processes, and the most efficient use of resources.
• Build and update pricing models for product SKUs across multiple markets.
• Work closely with teams across the organization—including Marketing, Product Development, E-Commerce, and Customer Support—to ensure alignment on objectives and the successful execution of operational goals.

 
 
We'd love to see in your background:

• Experience leading operations in either ecommerce or omni channel retail
• Success stories you can speak to, including driving efficiencies and saving on overheads
• Strong customer focus and an understanding of how deeply supply chain & operations impacts overall CX
• **bonus points for experience in supply chain for bulky products, such as furniture or browngoods
