Ecommerce Equation has ambitious goals and it's a super exciting time to be a part of the team. We're partnering with EE to secure a Web Coach in either a full time or part time capacity. 
 
This role will play a crucial role in the success of EE members by providing expert coaching on ecommerce websites and user experience (UX) optimization. In this role you'll leverage best-in-class website practices to help members enhance their online presence, drive conversions, and elevate their brand’s user experience. With a strong technical background in onsite experience for ecommerce, the Web Coach will guide members through optimizing their websites, ensuring they meet modern standards of functionality, design, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coaching and Mentorship: Provide 1:1 and group coaching sessions to ecommerce brands on website design, UX best practices to enhance user engagement and increase sales.
• Technical Guidance: Offer technical insights on improving website performance, functionality, and speed, with expertise in Shopify
• UX & UI Best Practices: Teach members the principles of user-centered design and how to create intuitive, conversion-focused websites, ensuring seamless customer journeys.
• Website Audits and Feedback: Conduct in-depth website audits for members, providing detailed recommendations for optimizing their sites for performance, mobile responsiveness, accessibility, and overall user experience.
• Curriculum Contribution: Collaborate with the Head of Specialist Coaching to develop training materials, webinars, and other educational content focused on website optimization and development strategies.
• Collaborative Projects: Work closely with other coaches to ensure an integrated approach to member success, aligning website optimization with other ecommerce strategies such as digital marketing,Meta advertising, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).

 
 
 
Key Qualifications

• UX/UI Design Experience: Strong understanding of user experience and user interface design principles, with a track record of improving website performance and conversion rates through design changes.
• Ecommerce Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of ecommerce platforms, digital customer journeys, and the unique needs of online retailers.\
• Analytical Mindset: Ability to conduct data-driven analyses of website performance using tools like GoogleAnalytics, Hotjar, or similar, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Communication Skills: Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and provide clear, actionable feedback.
• Development Expertise (preferred): Proven experience in web development with proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, relevant ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WordPress, Magento).
• Coaching or Mentoring Experience (preferred):Previous experience coaching or mentoring in a technical capacity is an asset.
