The Sr. Manager of Application Strategy is responsible for an architecture team that acts as a catalyst and visionary for teams that provide network automation, microservices, orchestration, access control, security, infrastructure, monitoring, AI/ML/ETL, network performance collection and presention, and reporting. The Application Strategy team is responsible for providing breadth of understanding as well as technical vision that transcends any single technology.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently supports all NSM projects by providing technical expertise and solutioning direction.
Responsible for developing Client's Enterprise Engineering application solutioning and vision.
Responsible for deploying Client's Enterprise Services developed by using internal Continuous Integration and Deployment pipeline.
Responsible for testing the Enterprise Services before customer launch by using internal command line interface that executes the test cases against the service.
Partner with product owners and scrum masters to release services to Spectrum Enterprise customers in a timely manner.
Responsible for managing multiple projects and must hire appropriately for the projects’ ensure that each project has the best people to develop, deploy, test and maintain it. Responsible for project budget management, ensure the business is using funds appropriately for a given project.
Demonstrated ability to manage and execute on multiple, critical projects simultaneously
Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills
Understanding of Ethernet, IP and TDM based networks and architectures
Understanding of routing protocols, network topologies and Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) Technical Specifications
Experience with scaled agile framework, roles, and philosophy
Understanding of software lifecycle and industry best practices for software development
Must be customer focused and service oriented
Strong business planning and forecasting skills
Strong analytic, organizational, and problem solving skills
Ability to analyze data and develop and present data driven report
Software development skills needed: Python, Git Source Control, Jenkins CI/CD, SQL,Web Services, MuleSoft,Docker,
Network engineering skills needed: MEF CECP / MEF NF/ MEF SDN-NFV,CCIE/JNCIE,ONF SDN Associate
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering Degree
Required Years of experience- 8+
