The Role
This is an outstanding opportunity for a recent agricultural graduate or early-career dairy professional who is passionate about cows, genetics and working with farmers. Based in South Gippsland, you will manage an established territory and build strong, long-term relationships with dairy producers.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will learn the company's genetics portfolio, understand each customer's breeding goals and recommend practical solutions that improve herd performance. Full support will be provided to someone with the right attitude, energy and willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop trusted relationships with dairy farmers and other industry customers
- Grow territory sales through regular farm visits and new business development
- Understand customer breeding goals and recommend tailored genetics solutions
- Build strong product knowledge and provide confident technical support
- Plan territory activity, maintain accurate CRM records and report on opportunities
- Represent the business at field days, industry events and customer functions
About You - A genuine passion for dairy cattle, breeding and genetics
- A qualification in agriculture, animal science or a related field, or practical dairy experience
- A natural relationship-builder who enjoys talking with farmers
- Commercial drive, self-motivation and a willingness to learn
- Comfortable travelling throughout the territory and planning your own schedule
- Current driver licence and willingness to be based in South Gippsland
The Location The successful applicant must live in South Gippsland, ideally around Leongatha, Warragul, Maffra or Traralgon. This is one of Australia's leading dairy regions, offering strong industry networks, attractive regional communities and easy access to the coast, national parks and Melbourne.
