THE COMPANY
Aurum Poultry Co. is an Australian leading producer and supplier of fresh and frozen elevated poultry products, servicing supermarkets, butchers, wholesalers, foodservice operators and specialty retailers across Australia.

THE ROLE
We are seeking a commercially minded Business Development Executive to drive sales growth across Victoria. Reporting to the Commercial Operations Manager, you'll enjoy a field-based role focused on building customer relationships, developing new business, growing existing accounts and delivering exceptional service. With autonomy to manage your territory, you'll play a key role in Aurum Poultry's continued growth.
You will:

• Manage and grow an established portfolio of 75–90 customer accounts across Victoria.
• Develop new business opportunities while building strong, long-term customer relationships through regular face-to-face visits.
• Drive sales by promoting Aurum's premium poultry range and identifying opportunities to expand product programs and volumes.
• Manage the sales process from prospecting to conversion while collaborating with operations to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, provide market and competitor insights, and prepare weekly sales reports.

THE REQUIREMENTS
You are a proactive sales professional who enjoys being in front of customers and thrives on achieving commercial results.
You'll ideally bring:

• Proven success in business development, territory management or account management.
• Strong relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-first approach.
• Demonstrated ability to win new business while growing existing customer accounts.
• Commercially minded, with strong planning, organisation and time management skills.
• Experience using CRM systems (MYOB or similar ERP experience will be advantageous) and the ability to work independently.
• A current Victorian driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively throughout Victoria.
• Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, wholesale food distribution or fresh produce will be highly regarded, although successful sales professionals from other industries are encouraged to apply.
• Cantonese, Mandarin or Vietnamese language skills will be highly regarded, as they will assist in supporting the Asian food retail and wholesale customer base.
