THE COMPANY
Our client operates a large, complex multi-site portfolio within a globally backed investment platform, supported by significant institutional capital and a sustained growth agenda. The business is increasing in scale and complexity, creating a need for sharper financial insight, stronger modelling capability, and more rigorous performance analysis to support decision-making at a senior level.

THE ROLE
The Senior FP&A Analyst is a high-impact role focused on understanding why performance is moving, not just reporting outcomes. Working closely with senior leadership, this position combines financial modelling, commercial analysis and structured problem-solving to drive better decisions across the business. It is suited to candidates who enjoy working in ambiguity, challenging assumptions, and translating complex data into clear, defensible insights.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Build and refine driver-based financial models to support planning, forecasting and scenario analysis;
• Lead analysis of business performance, identifying key drivers, risks and opportunities across a complex operating environment;
• Deliver high-quality periodic reporting with clear, well-structured commentary for senior stakeholders;
• Partner with operational and commercial leaders to challenge performance and improve outcomes;
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes, improving accuracy and strengthening underlying assumptions;
• Contribute to business cases, capital allocation decisions and targeted investment analysis;
• Drive improvements in reporting, systems and data quality to enhance insight and efficiency.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• 4–8 years’ experience in or high-performing commercial finance roles;
• CA / CPA qualified (or working towards);
• Advanced financial modelling capability and strong analytical instincts;
• Proven ability to break down complex problems and present clear, logical conclusions;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders;
• Naturally curious, commercially minded, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment;
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, SAP, etc.) is advantageous.
