The Company
Our client manufactures and markets the most comprehensive range of high-quality sprayers in Australia and New Zealand. The business is expanding rapidly as it meets an increasing need for high-quality sprayers and pumps for the local agricultural, horticultural, and industrial markets.

The Role
We are searching for a Sales Representative to develop and implement sales strategies that will drive their success across Victoria and South Australia. Your role will involve building strong relationships with current dealers, identifying new opportunities, and driving sales in the region. This is a solution-based sales role where technical knowledge is vital. We’re seeking someone with a solid foundation in sales, ideally with experience in agricultural machinery, parts, or a technical industry such as irrigation or hydraulics. If you have a mechanical aptitude and enjoy solving problems, this could be the perfect role for you.

While technical experience is an advantage, this position may also suit someone with minimal industry experience but a willingness to learn, and an interest in high quality technical products.

Requirements

• Ideally a background in agricultural machinery, machinery parts, or mechanical industries (e.g., hydraulics, irrigation).
• Experience working with machinery dealers, agricultural merchandise, or in technical sales.
• Problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn the intricacies of the products.
• A genuine interest in farming, agriculture, or machinery.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with existing and new dealers.
• Self-motivation, a proactive attitude, and a passion for sales.
• Training can be provided for more inexperienced candidates

Location
The bulk of the business is in Victoria so location can be flexible but no further east than Warragul and ideally no further west than Warrnambool. A South Australian location could not be ruled out for an exceptional candidate.

Remuneration
Competitive salary, attractive bonus and commission included. Ability to earn $30-40K in sales commissions on top of salary, super and car.
