Our client is a leading global agribusiness company that provides integrated solutions designed to improve dairy producers' production, animal welfare and overall quality of life. The business offers products, systems, and services for all steps of milk production, focused on improving production, profitability and the well-being of the people and animals involved.

Role
Reporting to the Market Area Oceania Sales Manager, the Sales Specialist will understand and build product capability of internal stakeholders, dealers and customers to drive the growth and success across the Hamilton region in New Zealand. The role is specifically to service the dairy industry with a range of consumer products (hygiene chemicals, rubberware, animal care, filters etc). Candidates should have at least five years experience, preferably in the dairy industry (or more generally in the rural sector).

Key requirements

• 5+ years successful field based sales experience (preferably technical sales)
• Experience and knowledge in milking systems operation and service
• Sound background in the development of Corporate relationships
• Advanced interpersonal skills to be able motivate and influence
• Understanding of and affinity with the dairy industry and dairy farmers
• Sound knowledge of selling and the sales process
• Dairy / Agricultural or science related degree

Location
The location for this role is around the Hamilton to Auckland area of New Zealand.
