We have offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Newcastle. Agribusiness has been a key growth sector for Australia and the industry is expected to continue to perform well for the foreseeable future. The roughly 125,000 businesses in the sector generate revenue of $207 billion per year and have experienced strong growth (3-4% per annum) in the past five years. Australia faces critical skills shortages in the agricultural and agribusiness sector. This threatens the ability of the agricultural sector to continue to grow and meet the increasing global demand for food and fibre. Finding skilled people for agribusiness roles is therefore a challenging and exciting career. We are now searching for multiple new consultants to join our business.
ROLE
As the Recruitment Consultant you will be working with a range of agribusiness clients to identify their requirements for skilled people and then recruiting for these people, ensuring timely delivery of appropriate candidates, effectively managing the recruitment process from sourcing, interviewing and short-listing to the client.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You have a big responsibility in that you are working with people. At the start, you will have a business development phase to identify clients and then work with them so that you understand their people requirements. You will then determine the best method to find the right people for the various roles and screen and interview all candidates, determine salary packaging and then present suitable candidates to the clients. The quality of your work is of paramount importance, all candidates require respectful and timely feedback on their application, and clients require progress reports. You will be responsible for following up on all placements to ensure effective onboarding of candidates and client satisfaction.
REQUIREMENTS
