Our Client
Our client is Australia’s largest grower of green microalgae. The company produces a range of innovative algae-based agricultural products and human health food products for global customers. The product range includes natural/organic plant and animal growth biostimulants, which have been shown to dramatically improve growth performance and product quality. They would like to appoint 2-3 sales agronomists and/or animal nutrition/livestock experts to support and expand their customer network. Positions are to be based in the Mackay and Bowen regions.

Role
We are seeking experienced or early-career professional agronomists/animal nutritionists to provide services, solutions, and technical knowledge to potential clients.  The positions are customer-facing with a commercial/sales focus.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with cropping and livestock customers and significantly expand the client base through regular interaction with the grower customers and other industry players,
• Undertake soil sampling and/or animal nutritional assessments and processing for customers
• Assist in customer service and problem solving
• Participate in the team preparation and implementation of Sales and Marketing plans for the sales regions
• Assist in annual advertising and promotional plans within sales regions
• Participate in the development and management of strategy to ensure the environmental sustainability of the business

Requirements
To be successful in these roles, you will have tertiary qualifications in Agricultural/Horticultural/ Nutrition or related discipline.  You will be a confident self-starter with outstanding communication skills and a passion for supporting Australian farmers to achieve maximum productivity. You will hold a Class C Australian Driver’s License and be able to work both autonomously and within a team environment. Access to your own vehicle is essential.
