We’re looking for a dynamic Technical Director to lead technological vision, drive digital transformation, and ensure news delivery remains at the forefront of innovation
  
You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how my client produces, distributes, and engages audiences across multiple platforms, leading cutting-edge advancements in both traditional broadcast and digital media.
  
�� What you’ll do

• Define and execute a company-wide technology strategy driving innovation in content production, broadcast delivery, user experience, and digital transformation
• Lead and mentor a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of agility and innovation
• Oversee broadcast infrastructure and live operations, ensuring 24/7 reliability, security, and scalability
• Drive the transformation of digital platforms and seamless integration with broadcast and social channels
• Leverage data and analytics to inform strategic decisions and enhance audience engagement
• Lead key technology projects using Agile methodologies and collaborate cross-functionally to meet business needs
• Manage vendor relationships, technology budgets, and compliance with industry regulations and cybersecurity standards

  
�� What you bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in technology leadership, preferably in broadcasting / media
• Proven track record of leading large-scale technology teams and complex projects
• In-depth knowledge of broadcasting technologies: studio production, NRCS, playout, transmission (satellite & IP), streaming
• Expertise in Cloud computing, scalable architectures, and big data technologies
• Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and innovation mindset
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing technology budgets and driving ROI
