HAYLO People are experts in Personal Injury, Safety and General Insurance recruitment. This newly created opportunity is ideal for an experienced Injury Management & Wellbeing Officer who thrives in a collaborative, people-first environment.

You’ll play a pivotal role in driving injury prevention, proactive return-to-work initiatives, and wellbeing strategies across a large and diverse workforce — helping to embed a positive health and safety culture from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote a positive, solutions-focused safety culture across all levels of the organisation
• Coordinate early intervention and recovery-at-work programs for both work-related and non-work-related injuries or illness
• Support the implementation of the organisation’s Health, Wellbeing and Return-to-Work strategies
• Manage workers’ compensation claims and facilitate communication with insurers, treatment providers and internal stakeholders
• Contribute to safety and wellbeing training and awareness programs

About You 

• Tertiary qualifications as an Allied Health professional (Physio, OT, Psych, Exercise Phys, etc.) and/or relevant experience
• Current Return-to-Work Coordinator accreditation
• Experience managing workers’ compensation claims, rehabilitation, and recovery-at-work processes
• Current driver’s licence

Desirable:

• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
• Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
