HAYLO People are experts in Personal Injury, Safety and General Insurance recruitment. We have partnered with a global insurer with a strong reputation in market, who are seeking a legally qualified Internal Review Specialist to join their Personal Injury team in Sydney.

With a newly refurbished CBD office and the flexibility to work from home up to 3–4 days per week, this is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer or legal professional looking to transition from private practice into insurance — or for someone already within the industry ready to take on a more strategic review and dispute resolution role.

The Role

• Respond to internal and external legal disputes in line with internal guidelines, policies, and legislative frameworks
• Review evidence on claims and prepare certificates of determination addressing key evidence and legal issues
• Draft written submissions in response to PIC applications and, where appropriate, represent the insurer at PIC hearings
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate resolution of disputes

About You

• Legally qualified with exposure to personal injury or insurance law
• Experience in dispute resolution, litigation, or claims review within personal injury (private practice or insurer background)
• Strong written communication and analytical skills
• Confident working both independently and collaboratively within a supportive and high-performing team
