We're partnering with a well-established Insurer in Brisbane CBD to recruit a Claims Consultant to support their Insurance Claims team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with other claims professionals, handle claims end to end across several insurance lines, and develop your career within a team-centric and supportive environment.

The Role:

• Manage your own portfolio of General Insurance claims
• Build meaningful relationships with the insured, the brokers and service suppliers, aiming to resolve claims with service-focussed approach
• Proactively progress claims efficiently while meeting internal benchmarks and turnaround times in line with service expectations.
• Operate within the boundaries of all applicable regulations, legal obligations, and company policies

About You:

• 1-4 years experience in a General Insurance Claims position, ideally Motor or Property
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
• A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to seek the best possible resolution for the insured
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
