As an Injury Management Advisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting injured team members through early intervention, return-to-work coordination, and injury prevention initiatives. This role sits within the Health & Wellbeing Advisor team for Supermarkets and is critical in fostering a safe and supportive environment across a large, diverse workforce.


The role

• Coordinate end-to-end return-to-work (RTW) processes, including communication with team members, managers, healthcare providers, and insurers
• Develop and implement tailored RTW plans in collaboration with treating practitioners and internal stakeholders
• Investigate and document incidents, manage injury reporting, and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions
• Identify and implement workplace adjustments and accommodations to support safe work resumption
• Ensure compliance with injury management legislation and insurance reporting requirements
• Monitor, evaluate, and improve injury management and RTW programs
• Deliver proactive injury prevention and wellbeing strategies across supermarket operations
• Contribute to a culture of care, safety, and continuous improvement

About you

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy or Social Work
• Strong clinical reasoning and ability to apply it in injury management contexts
• Demonstrated ability to build trust and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
• Experience coordinating RTW or injury management processes in complex environments
• Current driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
• Passionate about employee wellbeing, recovery, and creating safe workplaces
