As the Injury Management Advisor, you will play a central role in leading complex return-to-work (RTW) cases and mentoring site-based RTW Coordinators. This role focuses on delivering sustainable recovery outcomes for injured workers while minimising business disruption and supporting a culture of care, compliance, and continuous improvement.

The role 

• Manage end-to-end RTW plans across multiple jurisdictions
• Liaise with treating practitioners, insurers, legal teams, and internal stakeholders
• Provide expert advice and coaching to RTW Coordinators across the organisation
• Identify and address barriers to successful RTW outcomes
• Lead case conferencing and support workers through recovery and reintegration
• Monitor compliance with relevant workers' compensation legislation
• Contribute to injury management policy development and system improvements
• Deliver targeted training to build capability in RTW best practice

  
About you 

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, or a related allied health field
• Proven experience managing complex RTW cases end-to-end
• Strong working knowledge of workers' compensation legislation across jurisdictions
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, outcome-focused environment
• Passionate about employee wellbeing and driving sustainable recovery outcomes
• Experience delivering coaching or training to internal stakeholders (highly regarded)
