The role
This is a hands-on compliance leadership opportunity where you’ll play a key role in ensuring high standards of governance and professional practice across the insurance sector. You’ll drive compliance outcomes that protect clients and inform business decision-making.

•  Drive compliance frameworks that align with AFSL obligations and industry regulations.
•  Investigate incidents, identify risks, and deliver practical solutions that minimise impact.
• Lead training and education, building awareness, and fostering a culture of ethical conduct.
• Provide meaningful reports and recommendations that inform leadership decisions.
• Monitor legislative changes and enhance risk and audit processes to keep the business ahead of the curve.

About you

• Previous experience in compliance, risk, or insurance broking (insurance industry background essential).
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage complex workloads under pressure.
• Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence across the business.
• A collaborative, solutions-focused approach and genuine enthusiasm for the insurance sector.
• Strong technical skills, particularly with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
