HAYLO People are a specialist recruitment agency supporting people finding a role within insurance and personal injury claims. We’re currently partnering with a leading self insurer to recruit experienced  Senior Case Managers or Claims Specialist to manage a diverse portfolio within a self-insured environment.

Based in Sydney (Botany), this is a full-time permanent role that offers a flexible work environment, free onsite parking, and the chance to coach and lead a dedicated team of Case Managers.

The role:

• Lead and mentor Case Managers by providing technical guidance, coaching, and support on complex claims and legislative requirements.
• Manage a portfolio of high-risk and sensitive claims, ensuring quality decision-making and strong return-to-work outcomes.
• Drive compliance with SIRA legislation, internal procedures, and documentation standards across the team.
• Engage effectively with injured workers, employers, legal providers, and medical practitioners to resolve complex cases and support recovery.
• Oversee quality assurance through regular file reviews, team training, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

About you

• Proven experience in a senior case management or technical mentoring role within workers compensation.
• In-depth knowledge of NSW workers compensation legislation and SIRA regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex psychological and multi-trauma claims.
• Strong coaching, facilitation, and leadership skills.
• Experience working with a broad range of stakeholders including legal and medical professionals.
• Previous Self Insurance experience (desirable).
