The role: This is a role where you’ll have ownership over your work, exposure to decision-making at all levels, and the opportunity to apply a wide range of actuarial techniques that directly impact business results.

• Develop and enhance analytical tools and dashboards to monitor portfolio trends and performance.
• Analyse portfolio data and provide insights to support pricing, product, and strategic decisions.
• Build, update, and optimise models using sound actuarial and statistical methods.
• Review and improve processes to increase efficiency, including opportunities for automation.
• Collaborate with teams across analytics, product, and technology to ensure models and insights align with business objectives.
• Support and contribute to a variety of projects that impact multiple product lines and business areas.

About you

• Actuarial or pricing experience in General Insurance
• Degree in Actuarial Studies, Mathematics, Statistics, or a similar quantitative discipline.
• Associate or Fellow of a recognised Actuarial Institute/Society, or progressing towards qualification.
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience in statistical tools (e.g., Emblem, Radar, R) and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python).
• Experience with visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau is advantageous.
