We are exclusively partnered with a highly regarded Underwriting agency as they seek a new Liability Underwriter to join their team in Melbourne. This company has a fantastic culture reputation and is on an exciting growth journey.
 
As a Liability Underwriter, you will be responsible for managing an existing book of business and encouraged to be out in the market forming and maintaining relationships with brokers. As an experienced team member, you must have the ability to perform your duties to a high standard, continuously improving and impacting the current work process. Our client seeing great growth, are looking for an eager new team member to really make a difference.
 
This is a permanent full-time role based in Melbourne.   
 
The Role:

• To develop and underwrite new business and renewal retention
• Manage client relationships
• Increase company's market share within the Commercial Liability market through new and existing relationships
• Build, develop, and maintain broker relationships
• Attend market events and functions
• Be able to effectively promote the company and products to the broker market

About you:

• 5 years' Liability Underwriting experience preferred
• You will be passionate about delivering professional client experiences and enjoy working towards new business opportunities
• An organised person who demonstrates strong time management skills and prioritisation
• High level of attention to detail
