We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Claims Consultant to manage national Property Damage, Public Liability, and ISR claims. This is an exciting opportunity to provide expert consultancy, advocacy, and negotiation services to clients and brokers, ensuring favorable financial outcomes and effective risk management.

This role offers the flexibility to be based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane.

The role

• Managing Property, Liability, and ISR claims, liaising with clients, insurers, claimants, and external providers.
• Lead the settlement negotiation process on behalf of clients, advocating for favorable outcomes, and addressing insurer denials of liability.
• Claims Analysis & Reporting: Analyze claims history, prepare reports, and conduct claims trend analysis for clients. 
• Provide exceptional client and broker service, responding to queries and attending meetings to discuss claims management and strategy.
• Conduct training sessions for clients and brokers to enhance understanding of the claims process and its impact on business.

About you

• 5 years managing Liability claims, ideally in a commercial team focused on large business and brokered clients nationally.
• Strong understanding of national Claims Management processes and the ability to work within Client Service Agreements 
• Exceptional negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities to drive optimal outcomes.
• Strong time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills to manage a high volume of claims efficiently.
• Ability to build lasting relationships with clients, brokers, and stakeholders while being responsive to their needs.
