HAYLO People is a specialist recruitment agency supporting the Personal Injury and Insurance industry and are recruiting an opportunity for a well experienced Injury Management professional for a highly established government department. 

As the IM Advisor you will be responsible for working across injury management, employee relations, and WHS, supporting return-to-work outcomes, ensuring compliance, and assisting in the development of policies and procedures that align with best practice.

This is an initial 3 months temporary full-time role with an immediate start and the option to work from corporate office (Sydney CBD or Paramatta). 

The role

• Manage work/non-work-related illness/injury cases, focusing on return-to-work outcomes.
• Provide proactive coaching to HR partners and leaders on safety and wellbeing.
• Advise on employee relations and WHS matters, ensuring compliance with legislation.
• Assist in the development of policies and procedures to improve workplace safety.

About you

• Previous experience within Injury Management/ Worker Compensation required
• Understand the timeframes involved with NSW legislation 
• Confident to liaise with front line workers to senior and executive level staff
• Pay high attention to detail and exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Immediately available to start 
• Previous experience in NSW Public Sector will be highly regarded.
