HAYLO People have partnered exclusively with PIEF in the search for their next CEO based in Victoria. The PIEF CEO role is integral to moving PIEF to their next milestone whilst ensuring continuity of delivery and advancement for the industry. This role is key in positioning PIEF as a broader representative body across not only Personal Injury but Disability; bridging the gap between Personal Injury and Disability.
The Personal Injury Education Foundation (PIEF) is committed to delivering leading education and training programs, events, and initiatives for people working in the personal injury and disability management industries in Australia and Internationally. PIEF is owned by its members and is governed by a Board of Directors. As a not-for-profit member-based organisation and Registered Training Organisation (RTO), PIEF works towards developing and improving the professionalism, capability and capacity of the personal injury and disability management industries.
The Role: - The Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director (CEO), Personal Injury Education Foundation (PIEF) provides critical leadership in establishing and implementing the Foundation’s strategic direction and good governance practice and is directly responsible to the Board for executing the duties and responsibilities, in addition to the conduct and reporting of all Board and Board Sub-Committee meetings.
- The CEO will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategic and operational plans and budgets and the delivery of associated projects and activities to achieve targeted outcomes.
- The CEO shall have authority and responsibility for the Foundation’s financial management, strategic planning, building and maintaining key stakeholder relationships, infrastructure building, organisational and staff development and the responsibility for the implementation of the Foundations policies, programs, events, services and activities.
- The CEO is responsible and accountable for all corporate reporting requirements for the Foundation and RTO including annual accounts and ACNC reporting and compliance.
- The CEO will provide creative, dynamic and forward-thinking leadership, promoting the fulfilment of the Foundation’s vision and objectives.
- Your role will be to position PIEF as a broader representative body across not only Personal Injury but Disability; bridging the gap between Personal Injury and Disability.
About You: - Highly developed analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills demonstrating experience in high level governance and organisational development.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic business planning, financial management and managing and reporting to a Board of Directors.
- The ability to align and integrate vision, culture and performance within a learning and leadership culture, build resilient, effective, diverse, motivated and well-functioning teams.
- Extensive knowledge and experience within Personal Injury including Disability and the Not-For-Profit Sector. .
- Highly skilled at developing and enhancing internal and external networks, with the demonstrated ability to liaise at senior levels of business and government.
- Advanced communication skills (interpersonal, group, presentation, written), including the demonstrated ability to influence in a complex organisation, engage and manage stakeholders and negotiate at senior level.
- An awareness and understanding of jurisdictions, challenges within these and considerations at both state and federal political landscapes.
