We are currently seeking a skilled Finance and Administration Manager to join a leading insurance broking organisation based in NSW. In this role, you will oversee financial operations, trust account management, HR administration, and ensure the smooth execution of financial and administrative processes in compliance with regulatory standards.

The role:

• Oversee trust account management, including opening, administering new accounts, and performing regular reconciliations and reporting.
• Manage accounts receivable, payable, and ensure timely processing and adherence to financial controls and company policies.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and provide financial analysis to support decision-making, including preparing monthly financial and operational reports.
• Administer payroll processes, ensuring compliance with employment laws, tax regulations, and accurate record-keeping using accounting software (MYOB or Xero).
• Maintain detailed financial records for auditing purposes and prepare weekly debtor reports for key account managers.
• Handle HR administrative tasks, such as employee records, onboarding, and compliance with workplace policies.
• Oversee recruitment processes, including posting job ads, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and collaborate across departments to improve workflows and support internal and external audits.

  
About you:

• Experience in finance and administration, with a strong understanding of financial operations and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Proven track record in overseeing financial management, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and budgeting.
• Detail-oriented and proactive, with the ability to manage complex financial processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Self-motivated with a strong ability to work independently, while also being a team player who supports overall business growth and efficiency.
