The Eligibility Officer will assess claims, make decisions to accept/reject claims, and transition claims to Case Managers. The role involves calculating PIAWE, advising Dispute Resolution Managers on decision rationale, and identifying claim recovery potential. Strong technical knowledge of relevant legislation, resilience to achieve business objectives, and analytical and communication capability are key to success in this role.
This role is a great fit for Case Managers with experience in managing claims for front-end TMF (treasury management fund) portfolios.
The role
- Assess and make decisions on the acceptance or rejection of claims.
- Transition claims to Case Managers for ongoing management.
- Resilience and perseverance.
- Work management - attention to detail, organisational and planning skills.
- Utilize strong technical knowledge of relevant legislation.
- Identify barriers and make appropriate decisions.
About you - 2 years or more experience in eligibility or as a Senior Case Manager looking to step up.
- Strong working knowledge of Workplace Injury Rehabilitation & Compensation.
- Act 2013 and associated Regulations, and/or a Legal Qualification
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to change.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of ACCtion and Novus, or similar cases.
- Familiarity with WorkCover schemes.
Benefits - Salary Range: $105,000 - $108,000 package
- Fully remote-based role if you are based in regional NSW and 2 days in office for Sydney Metro
