We are seeking an experienced Claims Specialist to join one of Australia's most trusted and well-known broking agency in Australia. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of property and motor-to-end claims. Based in Parramatta, on a permanent full-time basis.

The role

• You will manage a property and motor mixed portfolio end to end, tailor strategies to each claim's complexity, manage expectations and communication across all stakeholders.
• Investigate the claim to determine its validity, which may include gathering evidence, interviewing involved parties, or collaborating with other professionals and stakeholders.
• Negotiate with insurance companies on behalf of customers to secure a fair settlement, involving discussions on the scope of coverage, policy terms, and the amount to be paid.
• Work towards a resolution by either facilitating the payment of the claim or assisting the customer if the claim is denied, helping them understand the reasons and potential recourse options.

About you

• Competent Property Claims Consultant, confident in taking ownership of your portfolio.
• Have excellent communication skills, written and verbal with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
• Be self-driven and supportive to help drive team performance.
• Previous experience in mentoring a team preferred but not required.
• Growth mindset and accountable for your own learning, taking advantage of learning and development programs.
