We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Property & Liability Underwriter in Brisbane. Bring your market presence and key broker networks to a leading insurer in the Mid-Market space.

Duties Include:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, understanding their unique needs and offering tailored insurance solutions.
• Coach, guide, & mentor junior Underwriters
• Underwriting new business for Property & Liability Insurance.
• Responsible for the day-to-day underwriting of portfolios.
• Achieve new business targets within underwriting authority.
• Attend industry functions and events.

To Be Successful:

• At least 5 years Property or Liability Underwriting experience
• Be approachable and able to mentor junior staff
• High degree of technical underwriting ability
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal with a professional approach
