Psychosocial Risk Specialist
Take the lead in shaping a mentally healthy environment at a University by driving the development and implementation of a Psychosocial Risk Register. This role is pivotal to organisations Mental Health and Wellbeing Plan, identifying psychosocial hazards, establishing preventive strategies, and ensuring regulatory compliance under standards such as ISO 45003 and ISO 45001. Work closely with stakeholders to enhance wellbeing controls, helping managers proactively address staff and student mental health needs.

• Salary package: $125,000 - $136,000 + 17% Super.

The Opportunity:

• Develop frameworks to manage psychosocial risks, in alignment with regulatory standards.
• Support the University mission with tailored initiatives promoting mental health and inclusivity.
• Collaborate with the Safety and Wellbeing team to ensure the University mental health strategy aligns with current legislation.
• Act as a consultant to People & Culture colleagues, fostering a proactive approach to psychosocial education.

About You:

• Tertiary qualifications in WHS or related field, with expertise in psychosocial risk management.
• Proven experience in a high-risk, complex work environment.
• In-depth knowledge of psychosocial hazard management, aligned with ISO standards.
• Excellent communicator, adept in stakeholder consultation, and training delivery.
