At HAYLO People, we are experts in Personal Injury, Safety and General Insurance Recruitment and we are partnered with a leading Underwriting agency who are seeking a Technical Marine Claims Consultant to join their national team.
  
The Role
As Technical Marine Claims Consultant your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Provide technical support, coaching, and development to claims consultants within the marine claims team, ensuring high-quality service and strong relationships with insured clients, legal representatives, and brokers
• Maintain compliance with statutory and service standards, including privacy regulations, and manage claims proactively from notification through to resolution.
• Determine and communicate indemnity decisions promptly and accurately.
• Accurately document claims processes and outcomes, negotiate settlements effectively,
• Location: 2 days a week in office
• Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm | Strong work-life-balance
• Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 Plus Super
• Contract: Full Time, Permanent (Permanent Residents and Citizens)

To be successful in this role you will offer:

• Extensive marine claims experience with strong technical and policy interpretation skills.
• Skilled in managing diverse portfolios, working effectively with adjusters, solicitors, and consultants.
• Strong time management, analytical and problem-solving skills, ensuring a customer-focused approach to claims.
