Odoo ERP Consultant

We are seeking a talented and versatile Odoo ERP Consultant to join our team as a freelancer. This is a unique hybrid role that blends the skills of a developer with the strategic mindset of a solution consultant. You will work directly with our industry leaders in the Italian market to understand and translate client needs into effective Odoo solutions, driving digital transformation.
 
This role requires a proactive professional who can analyze business processes and integrate them into key Odoo modules like Production, CRM, Marketing, and Supply Chain.

 
Responsibilities
 

• Work closely with clients and industry consultant to understand their business requirements and objectives.  
• Analyze and map existing business processes to define how they will be configured within Odoo.  
• Configure and customize Odoo modules (e.g., Production, CRM, Sales, Marketing, Inventory, etc.) to meet client-specific needs.  
• Integrate Odoo with other systems using standard APIs or custom connectors.  
• Develop custom solutions and features using Python and JavaScript to extend Odoo's functionality.  
• Provide training and support to end-users to ensure a smooth transition and user adoption.  
• Serve as a trusted advisor, proposing innovative solutions and best practices to optimize client operations.  
• Create and maintain detailed technical and functional documentation.

 
Qualifications
 

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience as an Odoo ERP consultant or similar role.
• Fluent in both Italian and English (written and spoken).
• Solid understanding of business processes in areas like manufacturing, sales, marketing, and logistics.
• Proven coding experience in Python and JavaScript for Odoo development and customization.
• Experience with other ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) is a strong plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex needs into clear technical requirements.  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
