Our client is the leading provider of solutions for electrical installations in residential and commercial buildings. They have been successfully distributed for many years in Australia across a variety of electrical wholesalers and have an outstanding local and international reputation.
The company has a passionate and driven sales management team and years of building an outstanding reputation. The organisation provides reliable technical and customer service support to the sales team, with several long-serving employees.
What is in it for you? This is a fast-paced role providing solution selling and project management to tier 1 & 2 contractors. The role requires someone to be a leader with poise, who is articulate and leads by example. You'll be account managing the largest commercial projects dealing with engineers and consultants, You are the conduit to winning the projects and managing them through to completion with your counterparts in the business.
Your responsibilities:
Building long term relationships with leading Electrical contractors, Wholesalers and Specifiers
Tracking projects in your client portfolio till a firm order is received
Develop strong relationships with customers that will generate project-based solution sales
Seek and develop new sales opportunities
Access, track and engage key stakeholders in projects by utilising research databases such as BCI
Provide after-sales service to customers
Cold call on project sites and effectively manage leads
Your skills & experience:
Proven experience in sales/ account management within the commercial and multi-residential projects market
A good understanding of switchgear and switchboards is highly desirable
Applicable technical and trade qualifications within the residential and commercial projects market will be highly regarded
Very good time management skills - being able to prioritise multiple tasks and activities
Superb communication and presentation skills
The ability to resolve technical issues
