This role provides good scope for career progression for a savvy Key Account Manager that wants to build a strategic Key Account Management career across multiple channels to market.
This business straddles accounts in retail, manufacturing and construction. Your main focus will be retail, but these businesses often have a manufacturing base too.

You'll be often working closely with sales executives across NSW to identify key targets to build a close key account relationships with and work closely with the local sales executive to develop a plan and execute it.
Responsibilities
Budget management and planning for your key accounts
Able to assess opportunities within your customers and build a plan around that and execute on it
Having commercial discussions with regards to front of house (POS, marketing etc), as well as back of house issues such as logistics, supply, pricing and product)
Identifying potential new accounts to develop in conjunction with local area sales representatives
Maintenance of results and quarterly reviews with key accounts
Drive sales, promotions, POS and joint marketing initiatives within your key accounts, including the launch of new products
Negotiation of terms, pricing, margins and marketing programs to support sales results
Data analysis, strategy development and key account planning
Forecasting, sales analysis and reporting
Day to day problem solving for your accounts
Who are you?
Previous experience managing large key accounts and exceeding sales and profit targets
Demonstrated success in executing your plans across multiple channels and customers
Presentation skills; one-on-one and in group settings
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
Relevant tertiary qualifications
Able to build relationships through each major account and internally to ensure effective execution
