Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you'll be driving strategy and execution for the trade marketing function and working closely with your digital marketing counterpart to create integrated marketing campaigns.

Work closely with marketing and cross-functional teams, so that your comms strategy neatly dovetails into the marketing and business plans of the business
Management of ATL and BTL communications
Strategy and execution of PR, print, advertising and trade marketing and promotions
Merchandising programs and rollouts
Product launch strategy, events and tradeshows
Joint promotions with electrical wholesalers
Reporting, analysis and ensuring a solid return on investment, along with budget management
Agency briefings and keeping them on time and on budget
Your skills and experience...
Broad communications experience - driving strategy and execution
Strong analytical skills, you are just as comfortable talking about the creative as you are discussing analytics and diving into the numbers in an Excel spreadsheet
Strong brand management skills
Understand who your audience is and you are comfortable targeting a variety of different customer groups - trades, builders, engineers and architects, electrical retailers
Organisation and time management
Team player and able to influence your co-workers in other departments to ensure your deadlines are met
Ideally, experience in building products, construction or consumer durables. If you have worked in the electrical market that is an advantage but not essential.
Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills and MS office
