The Opportunity

Due to continued growth across the Melbourne Airport programme and an increasing volume of opportunities across other sectors, we're looking for an Estimator to join the team in Tullamarine.

This is a newly created position, giving you the opportunity to join a business that's investing in its future and creating genuine career opportunities. You'll work alongside an experienced estimating team, pricing a diverse range of commercial projects while continuing to develop your technical and commercial skills.

Whether you're looking to build on your current experience or take the next step in your career, you'll be supported by experienced leaders and given exposure to a wide variety of projects.


What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Assisting with value engineering and cost planning.
• Supporting project handovers to the delivery team.
• Building strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and clients.

About You
You'll ideally have:

• 3+ years' estimating experience within commercial construction in Australia.
• Experience pricing new build, fit-out and/or refurbishment projects.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive attitude and a genuine desire to continue learning.
