Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in West Yorkshire, are looking for an experienced Principal Management/ Financial Accountant to join their team and play a crucial role within their Education Operation

Position: Principal Management/ Financial Accountant
Rate:  £26.62 p/h Umbrella
Contract Duration: 6 months with Possible Extension
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Job Duties: 

• Lead financial oversight for a maintained schools portfolio
• Manage and develop a team of school finance specialists
• Support budget monitoring, reporting, and financial governance across the service

Job Requirements:

• Ideally CCAB qualified (or equivalent)
• Previous experience working as a Financial Accountant or similar role
• Previous experience working for a Local Authority or similar organisation.
