We are currently recruiting for IT Support Consultant, on behalf of our client based in London. The contract for this position is on a temporary basis, initially for up to 3 Months.

PAY RATE: £24p/h Umbrella
WORK TYPE: Temporary
WORK PATTERN: Full Time
LOCATION: London

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

To provide expert domain support for incidents and investigations into breaches of Council policy.
To be responsible for security event management systems, intrusion prevention systems, vulnerability scanning tools and end point security systems.
To ensure the technical protection and security of data and technology assets.
To provide extracts and reports required by customers by using existing tools, such as Solarwinds Monitor, SCOM, Powershell queries, Proofpoint and Forcepoint.
To demonstrate compliance to Internal Audit and external regulators.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

A basic DBS is required for this role.
Must have extensive knowledge of networking principles, practices and
technologies.
Must have experience or be trained in the operation of at least two security vendor's AI software.
Knowledge of and proven ability to work to standards including ITIL,
Prince 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27002 Data Protection Act, General Data
Protection Regulations.
