Tempting Recruitment are working on behalf of our client, a Social Housing Provider to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor.
  
Salary: £44,235 Per Annum
Working Pattern: Full-Time
Contract: Permanent

OVERVIEW

You will support my client to develop and maintain high standards in health, safety and well-being for employees, customers and contractors 
  
JOB DETAILS

• Undertake risk assessments where it is deemed of sufficient importance
• Represent HSE matters on appropriate groups, working parties and at meetings to raise awareness, ensure compliance is considered and promote best practice and compliance.
• Provide advice and guidance to managers, supervisors and staff when requested or where issues are identified when undertaking work locally and change is likely to be required. Work with the managers to ensure compliance with all inspection and auditing requirements and minimisation of any risk identified with appropriate control measures.
• Lead on major accident and incident investigations.
• Maintain accident records and statistics required for the Association to comply with its duties under RIDDOR and to provide guidance to managers, including the reporting of accidents and incidents to enforcing authorities as required. 

• Experience of working in a complex Health and Safety environment with a good working knowledge of Health and Safety Law
• Experience of working within the housing sector
• Hold an appropriate Health and Safety qualification with NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum.
