We are currently recruiting for Finance Officer, on behalf of our client based in London. The contract for this position is on a temporary basis, initially for up to 9 Months.

JOB DETAILS

PAY RATE: £16p/h Umbrella
WORK TYPE: 9 months
WORK PATTERN: Full Time
LOCATION: London

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

To manage accounts payables and receivables transactions using appropriate systems and ensuring appropriate authorisation.
To support a refreshed and proactive approach to financial assessments, modelling best practice.
To support customers to make payments towards their assessed financial contribution towards the costs of their social care services.
Participate in the preparation of bids for funding
To provide statistical and financial analysis.
To deal with queries from managers and customers, taking appropriate action to resolve any issues.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

Must have experience in Accounts payable and receivable transactions.
Must have knowledge of local government finance.
Must have excellent communication skills and be able to meet deadlines.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
