Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Specialist SEN Provision who are looking to recruit a Head of Day Care Services to Permanent join their team based in Harrow.
  
JOB DETAILS:

• PAY RATE: £40,000 - £45,000 (DOE)
• WORK TYPE: Permanent 
• WORK PATTERN: Full Time  
• LOCATION: Harrow

JOB SUMMARY:
The purpose of this role is to form partnerships with Local Authorities to better understand their strategy for supporting people with Learning Disabilities as well as understanding their Transforming Care Agenda and their spend plans.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Directly manage the Day Services senior team.
• Ensure that the relationships are formed and continually maintained with all the London local boroughs.
• Keep abreast of local borough and government plans and work develop the Day Care service aligned to their plans.
• Develop business growth and organisational strategy in consultation with the Director and the BDM.
• Manage all the Safeguarding incidents.
• Develop budgets for each of the services and then manage to these budgets.
• Work with the Director and BDM to review business and investment opportunities.
• Be the point of escalation for any staff involved in delivery of the services

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies.

• Adult Care Management Qualification.
• Credible working history with Adult Care Services.
• A high degree of interpersonal skills utilising these to build trust and confidence – both internally and externally.
