Our client requires experienced Female Disability Support Workers who have experience supporting clinically complex, high-risk clients. This role reports to an Area Manager, who supports and trains you to ensure you deliver exceptional care. 
  
About the Role: 

• In home care assisting and enabling participants with daily tasks. inc. meal preparation, personal care and administering medication. 
• Assisting with domestic duties around the home. 
• Supporting clients to engage and participate in their community. 
• Support and enable participants to achieve their goals.

About You: 

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the disability sector. 
• High physical support experience (manual handling, mobility support, hoist use preferred)
• Experience supporting progressive neurological conditions (Huntington’s, Parkinson’s, MND, dementia-equivalent profiles)
• Strong mealtime management / dysphagia awareness (trained or willing to be trained)
• Experience in high-risk SIL environments with full ADL support
• Ability to recognise and respond to clinical deterioration and escalation triggers.
• Valid CPR & First Aid certificates.
• Minimum Certificate III Disability or similar/higher. 
• Empathy for the issues facing people with a disability. 
• Highly organised and proactive. 
• NDIS workers check.
• NSW Driver’s License (or similar) plus own car is desirable.
