We are looking for experienced Male Disability Support Workers who have experience supporting people with mental health conditions and challenging behaviors. This role reports to an Area Manager, who supports and trains you to ensure you deliver exceptional care. 
  
About the Role: 

• In home care assisting and enabling participants with daily tasks inc. meal preparation, personal care and administering medication. 
• Assisting with domestic duties around the home. 
• Supporting clients to engage and participate in their community. 
• Support and enable participants to achieve their goals.

About You: 

• Minimum 1 plus years of experience in the disability sector. 
• Experience across a range of disabilities, including Epilepsy, Mental Health, and Autism. 
• Willing to drive a van to transport our clients.
• Minimum Certificate III Disability or similar/higher. 
• Good communication skills. 
• Empathy for the issues facing people with a disability. 
• Strong belief in the principles of Person Centred Practices. 
• Highly organised and proactive. 
• NSW Driver’s License (or similar) plus own car is desirable.
