2025 Senior Finance Opportunities
As we commence 2025, market conditions for senior finance leaders are remain active - more newly created jobs from start ups, organic growth, restructures, newly formed divisions, post merger activities, and plenty of domino effect hiring with executives like yourself on the move. Demand remains strong for those with a combination of strategy, commercial, compliance, and technology - particularly the adoption of AI and automation. The most frequently requested attribute from MD's/CEO's when hiring a senior finance leader is a finance business partner capability of driving future company performance. Not far behind were superior communication skills - ability to tell a story with the numbers at any level in the organisation; and leadership (proven success in attracting, developing, retaining, and getting results from your teams).
Macias Consulting aims to provide access to at least 30+ senior finance opportunities (packages above $200k by definition) across a broad spectrum of industry sectors, various size companies, across the greater Perth metro area. These are often head office, but historically have also been regional or division specific financial leadership roles of global companies. As we are unable to advertise all roles due to confidentiality, we are creating this opportunity for your to come forward and introduce yourself as strategic mover in confidence. Unlike traditional high street retained firms, we move quick, do not use retainers, and shortlist immediately. Your Profile
We will be looking to continue to build hiqh quality shortlists for our Clients with fully qualified accountants (CA, CPA, CIMA) with demonstrated outperformance as a leader of high performing teams, the ability to drive business performance, improve processes, provide critical decision support, growth via acquisition and organically, and enhance the bottom line for our Client Companies. You may have worked in private companies, listed organisations, NFP's, or PE backed companies. You have working rights in Australia and are specifically targeting the Perth market with your search.
Our typical shortlisted profile would have reasonable tenure with employers including performance based promotions, achievements aligned to the problems our Client has flagged, and a mix of industry relevance or worked in a similar sized company previously. MD's and Boards are quite risk adverse at present, the more aligned your profile to an individual opportunity, the more likely you'll be shortlisted. Macias is risk taker, often entering a 'wildcard' individual on every search, someone that may not be that obvious a fit on paper, but presents as standout worth considering, beyond what the CV says.
